The rooms were decent sized with a sofa bed and had all necessary facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed that we had a hair dryer, a storage space, and a safe. The service was all in all terrific...

I recently stayed at Hotel 81 in Singapore for a week-long vacation. The location was fantastic, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, as well as being a short walk to the metro. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with excellent housekeeping service. it was a great place to stay.

I do recommend this hotel.

It's a 10 minutes walk from Lavender mrt station, if you are familiar with the place. If not, just hop on Bus no. 32 and tell the driver that you need to go to Jalan Sultan, most of them are very helpful). For muslim, if you forgot to bring the compass (for kiblah direction), you can borrow them from the reception counter. For food, there is a Mamak Restaurant at the same block and there are a lot of Halal restaurants available in Kampung Glam and Arab Street area which are a few blocks away from the hotel. Just ask the staff if you need help for directions as they will help you in details. My two friends and I stayed for three nights and it was affordable and comfortable enough for us. Housekeeping is done everyday and they also replenished the bottled water for us three. Overall, it was a fine stay.

Noise from the street (because of the vehicles) can be a bit disturbing. There's a club in front of the street (inside the Sultan Plaza) but didn't see any abnormal activities outside the plaza. So it's still can be considered as a good surroundings. Still, for me, this place is not recommended for family with young children and infants and family with disabled and elders as the room is very small and might be a bit difficult for them.

I was really happy with the value for money at Hotel 81 Heritage. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, with plenty of interesting points within comfortable walking distance. The staff were helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast could be improved with more variety of options.

Perfect hotel in the traditional style. Plenty of GOOD options for meal. Magnificent and unbeatable location just off restaurants and convenience stores, vacation base for visiting cafés and bars near the venue.

Convenient location near Bugis MRT and shopping malls. The staff, especially the female manager, went out of their way to assist us in renting bikes for exploring the city. They also securely held our luggage after check-out. The room was clean and safe. I would highly recommend this hotel for its location and helpful staff.

The location was magnificent and absolutely perfect: a shopping centre and a market were within walking distance.

Affordable,near Kampong Glam, Arab street, walkable distance to two MRT stations on airport line,not far from Bugis Junction and markets.

We didn't have too many options because we travelled as a group of three and in many hotels there was no chance to get an extra bed into the room.

It was way overpriced considering the location and quality. You couldn't open the window blinds to see outside which made it quite uncomfortable. We didn't hate it but wouldn't stay there again either.

Good home base for exploring Singapore. Excellent service, quiet place. Spotless and compact room, a shower and fresh towels in the room. Exceptionally comfortable beds and amazingly nice staff. Great and unbeatable location for visiting a stadium and cafés.

The location of Hotel 81 was perfect for exploring the city. The MRT stations were just a short walk away, making it easy to get around Singapore. The immediate area around the hotel was vibrant, with lots of restaurants and interesting shops to explore. The convenience store in the same block was also a plus.

Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, the lack of a window and the smaller size could be a drawback for some guests. Additionally, the hotel building could use some more traditional decorations to enhance its charm.
